Having undergone three painful NON-cosmetic reconstructive surgeries to the left side of my face I can ask only one question. Why would anyone in their right mind actually opt for medically unnecessary surgery?

"Anyone in their right mind," I don't think he is. Worse is the doctors who perform it, he's going to lose his nose soon

Yes he did, it's called Body Dysmorphic Disorder, they are never satisfied with the outcome and so they keep doing it. Rhinoplasty is one of the most difficult of plastic surgery and I'm not one up for elective surgery either. I wouldn't mind fixing some bits but not by being cut on.
