Is it possible that a country wants to die?

I'm thinking specifically of North Korea. They do not seem sound of mind from the top down. People on the streets apparently are claiming they are willing to die fighting the Americans. None of them seen to realize that three minutes after attacking Guam, Japan or South Korea their nation will cease to exist....with millions dead. I can't help wondering if there is a nation wide suicide wish controlling the nation? What do you think?

I doubt that the average North Korean has any idea of what the rest of the world is like and what sort of armed forces they'd be facing in the event of all out war. All they see are the parades that showcase their own military might and all they hear are the speeches their fearless leader makes. And he's just crazy enough to believe what he says.

I disagree with that,we are having an extremely rough patch. I think your wish is America would die and just not because of the Trump admin. I also think we have only gotten shades of what N. Koreans think but it reminds me of the type of country when things are bad enough the military turns. Without that support, there isn't a lot they can do.

As bad as Kim Jung-Un is, unfortunately to me North Korea looks like the good guy in this one.

The US totally screwed up in partitioning Korea in the first place.
And they by constantly illegally invading or attacking countries, like the Philippines, Mexico, Iran, Vietnam, Grenada, Panama, Somalia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, Egypt, etc., all countries now have a legitimate claim to nuclear weapons as a deterrent.

I really don't see how North Korea could possibly act any differently than they have.
We made it all happen.
It is necessary.
And I don't feel there is any reason at all to consider North Korea to at all be a threat.
They are just demanding to be taken seriously.
Which they should be.
And we should leave them alone, and get out of South Korea completely.
It is all our fault in my opinion.

The US created the UN, and the UN has always only done what the US wanted it to do.
If not for the US, there never would have been a division, and Syngman Rhee would never have been brought in to murder people.
