Charlie Rose was suspended by CBS on Monday after eight women accused him of sexual harassment, with allegations including groping and unwanted sexual advances.

[Charlie Rose of PBS is one of the finest journalist in America. Now at least eight women have come forward to accuse him of sexual harassment. When will this stop? The point has been made and now men will stop this sort of behavior or they won't. Too many careers are being ruined. What do you think?]

I am sickened. I am a forgiving person, and I believe in redemption. It's hard for me to make a harsh judgment and stick with it, since I have done so many things in my life that I am ashamed of. But some things are really beyond the pale. People who do them have to be called to account.

Unfortunately, if people aren't called to account because it's decided enough is enough, it will only embolden those who are guilty, but aren't exposed.

The downside of women being emboldened to speak out against sexual harassment is that there are bound to be women who make false accusations to get money. That's just inevitable. And Bill Clinton is an easy target because he has already been convicted in the court of public opinion.

It's a little like No Way Out.
The hit news from this morning is that Charlie Rose always did his interviews seated at a desk or table so nobody could see that he was only wearing a shirt, tie and jacket.
He explained, "They said the dress code was coat and tie, but they never mentioned pants."
