"let's not judge the president on what he says"

Those are the actual words of U.S. Rep. Jim Renacci.

"I know it's difficult for the president because many times you want to say what you are thinking but in the end, I know a lot of times he is saying what people are thinking," said Renacci. "So look, I always say, judge the president after four years. Let's judge the president after what we've done, let's not judge the president on what he says."

I dont mind him saying what he is thinking - its just that often he appears to speak without thinking about what he is saying

I sure judge his base. A bunch of frigging idiots and so are the majority of eligible voters who didn't vote.

Are mass quantities of eligible that fail to vote each and every election. Not even considering paying them to vote(is illegal anyway) has ever turned that crowd to the polls.

Trump speaks his mind, he often speaks what is thinking rather than hold it back not unlike my own Father and Uncles of the Depression Era babies or the early WWII vet Boomer Babies. I am of the later Boomers but still tend NOT to hold my tongue in many instances where may have been better to stay quiet for general peace.

He is NOT and NEVER BEEN a Politician, he is a business based design and as such will be the way he is, have been in meetings(ass chewings) with CEO or CFO, District or Region Management and other business moguls since the 70's where in private they were as blunt and frank as to commentary.

When you are "blunt and frank" and say racist and bigoted things, being blunt and frank DISqualifies you from being president of the United States.

It isn't speaking his mind that's the problem, it's what is on his mind (and what isn't).

Blunt and frank may be interpreted as racist or demeaning when that was not an intention just becomes the individual's interpretation. I can interpret as I feel necessity to prove a point, are you doing so now?

Have Stated "You look very nice today" to a woman co-worker, she accepted the compliment and moved on, a woman aside her took it as demeaning and harassment but not proved as the other woman and I had been friends for over a decade with the new 'harassed' woman only a contact a few months long. Who was correct? Was I incorrect or demeaning by your Judgement?

And yes is basis of same context, interpretation by a bystander or third party.

I'm saying being blunt and frank is no defense against being racist and bigotted. When a person is praised for being blunt and frank, that praise is misplaced if the bluntness and frankness show the person to be a moral degenerate. "His words may be racist but at least they're blunt and frank" is misplaced praise.

And who stated he to be 'Racist' in remarks? Or was it a read in to fit a need?

Sometimes it is hard to understand what you are trying to say.

Many statements by Trump are racist or sexist or bigotted in some other way. He employs his vocal chords before his mind engages. What he says is often his real beliefs and many of his beliefs are disgustingly bigotted.
