Democrats need to impeach Trump if they win the House.
Even if they only get the House and Republicans still have the Senate and there's no way in hell they'll convict. Why? Because then they'll have done their part.

Have to have a VALID reason, impeachment is not a lackadaisical event and NOT a condition based solely on a persons 'Party'.

Self-dealing would be a valid reason for impeachment, as well as violating the "emoluments" clause of the Constitution. By the time the new Congress is seated, the Mueller report will likely be out, with many more bases for articles of impeachment.

They do have a VALID reason. And if Bellelettres is correct and the report comes out after the Democrats take over the House and decades from now people ask why wasn't something done about this guy, why wasn't he impeached, the Republicans will be able to say hey we only controlled the Senate. We couldn't do anything unless the Democratic House impeached him.

Pence is bad, but he's not crazy. Comey told George Stephanopoulus last night that he thought Trump should be voted out instead of impeached because the American people would be doing it, not the Congress. But I think it's irresponsible (1) to leave Trump in office for two more years, and (2) take the chance that he might win in 2020.
