"I thought the b...h was white!"
This was Roseanne's recent comment about the Valerie Jarrett controversy. She was trying to explain that it couldn't have been a racist comment because she thought the "b...h" was white.
What an improvement! Referring to Valerie using the B word is so much better than appearing to be a racist.
More politically correct maybe but not really better.

I don't remember, did she say this sort of stuff before twitter? I do know in mental illness this can come out, it can be they kept it mostly umder wraps or it wasn't who they used to be

A term I really dislike. It implies that all blacks and browns are trash, and only particular white people are.

Well Belle, I lived in Florida for 48 years and people who behave in such a way are known as white trash down there. Different parts of the country have different ways of expressing their contempt for such vile people. It has nothing to do with people of color; it has to do with how white people treat others. I'm sorry if you don't approve but I can't please everyone. I won't even try.

The term "white trash's" only suggestion is that some white people are trash or trashy. It doesn't really imply anything about black or brown people.
Anything negative about them has to be read into it or a preconception one already has.
I've heard the term on a few occasions and never once thought that it implied that all black or brown people are trashy.

If it refers to white people it has something to do with people of color. Since white is a color white people are people of color.
People like to use the politically correct expression people of color as if it doesn't include white people but that's just nonsense.
