Most likely not, given that the problem is my VPN is on an IP that the is outside of the NPR service area.
The cookies that give my location are beginning to attached to links, so sorry, and live with it I must.
Will it matter in a hundred years ?

That makes no sense at all. Just find the accurate URL, copy it and paste it into a post here. No cookies are attached to links - you just have a link you copied from somewhere that inserted ellipses into the displayed link.
After you provide a usable link people will be able to respond to the content found there. Until then the only content I can comment upon is yours, which I've already said makes no sense. 🙂
As for the Koch brothers, it's apparent that every group must have a boogeyman, and for now the left has the Koch brothers in that role.
