"Sounds like you don't see a big problem with the pharmaceutical industry.":

So why doesn't the usual logic applied to how conservative mass shooters are not the NRA, exactly, apply to Big Pharma ?

You know what I mean, it is not the whole organization that is to be blamed, just, in this case, the marketers that bribed doctors to over prescribe their drugs are ... well, given the damage done, just as bad as terrorists.

Then you also blame all automobile incidents on Auto Makers, or alcoholics on the alcohol producers? Knife and silverware makers must rate really low in your esteem.

Can you read, Cooter ?

I said the opposite of your knee-jerk reaction:

" it is not the whole organization that is to be blamed, just, in this case, the marketers that bribed doctors to over prescribe their drugs are"

Who is at fault there, the maker of booze?

I agree. It is not Big Pharma's fault if someone chooses to not follow instructions and take too much of a narcotic. As long as people are adequately informed of the hazards of using narcotics and know what to avoid if they choose to plunge ahead and take those additional risks they are to blame for any adverse results.

Of course the same thing is true when people choose to take the risk of using black market narcotics. The user is responsible for what happens unless they are sold something they didn't choose to buy. The government merely increases the risk for those choosing to use heroin by keeping it illegal which is not something the government should be doing.

Then why are you all backing this miscreant over educated idiot trying to associate Finance of big banks to major corporations to remediation's?

A bank makes Loans, based on ability to repay, that is about it, they have NO say in how a company functions other than the use of lent finances and that to a limited level. The Wells Fargo person she was questioning basically set her back in her seat with that very premise. WF bank does NOT pump oil, nor drill wells nor do they supply goods to people for consumption, just finance. Hard to make a case as she was trying to do as to their being associatively libel for damages on projects financed from their institution.

A better question is why does anyone blame drug dealers of any kind for people misusing the drugs which are provided to them?

I don't blame banks for loaning money to people who then misuse it in some criminal activity but then I also don't blame drug dealers or doctors and accuse them of being murderers when some drug user overdoses on drugs.

Dr. Lisa Tseng was sent to prison after being convicted of murder after simply prescribing narcotics to three men who then were careless and overdosed. She is not guilty of murder and doesn't belong in prison for 30 years.

https://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-ln-doctor-murder-overdose-drugs-sentencing-20160205-story.html

That's what should outrage people, not banks being accused of similar bogus crimes. It's a safe bet banks won't be getting into trouble for committing that kind of imaginary crime.

... except if the source of the money is from illegal activity.
Why shouldn't the same rules that apply to money laundering apply to all loans, because if a borrower is convicted under the RICO Act their asserts, their real estate will be seized and they will not pay back the loan.

PROVE that last comment. The AOC commentary was NOT based on Illicit funds just that they DID Fund a loan.
