I don't think Hitler was in charge either, doesn't matter really does it? I'm of the same thought trying and failing is better than not trying at all.

What is important is that Qaddafi was put as leader in order to maintain stability and prevent groups like al Qaeda and ISIS taking over
We should have realized that and left Qaddafi alone. We screwed up.
Similarly, we screwed up the Treaty of Versailles.
Germany did not start WWI, Russia and France did.
Germany was the victim.
Things were MUCH better before the US screwed them up.
We only make things much worse.
Like in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Egypt, Syria, Iran, Yemen, etc.

Germany a victim of exactly what? I agree with we screwed up on the treaty. It is not important what leader is put up for the "front" we got Trump from that crap and Germany got Hitler, Trump is a figure head idiot the leader is Mitch McConnell and his gang.

WWI was deliberately started by the Russians, France, and England.
The Russians ordered the Serbian secret police to train Princip to assassinate archduke Ferdinand, so that it would look like local separatists where responsible. At the same time, the French prepared to invade Germany's southern region.
Germany was not at all involved in starting WWI, and was the victim of a plot by the Allies.

I agree Trump is doing very badly, and Mitch McConnel is not much better.

But neither are the democrats, with constant wars, mandatory private insurance, gun control, the war on drugs, and insane health care politics like "flattening the curve".

Differentiating between democrats and republicans these days is a lie. They are all equally bad.

Gimme a break it was Nancy Reagan that had the "war on drugs." Health care for all citizens is not "insane" it's common sense. There is a reason why Hispanics are dying at 4x the rate as whites and 5x for blacks, lack of healthcare. You cannot moan about inequality, poverty, ghettos, the cops and not get health care is just as important for the poor! "Equally as bad" that is in certain issues I can recognize with dems but not since Trump. It's a no brainer.

Rigby is right that the democrats joined in with republicans in the "war on drugs" but based on their history republican leaders have amped up that war more than the democrats. Wasn't it Nixon who created the DEA? Talk about big government. That helped to bloat our federal government with a completely unnecessary agency.

Our voting should always favor the lesser of two evils. Hillary was a slightly better choice than Trump. Plenty of reason to vote for her.

I don't know if they did or not, I can't find where they joined together. Today both parties want to chill out on laws and overwhelmingly. I don't look at Clinton as a lesser of two evils, not that I am not aware of her "issues" but for me it was a no brainer. I will never understand the election of Trump, not with his history through decades. We have a huge problem in this country no matter the party, no transparency, no accountibility. Living in the UK under democracy, the difference, amazing!

It's easy to understand why Trump was elected if you understand the role of misogyny among white voters of both sexes, not just men. That kind of anti-Hillary voter in three key states gave him the election.

Biden won't have that particular disadvantage that Hillary had but he will have another one. Trump will be an incumbent whom voters tend to re-elect. It's probably going to be another close election.

Reagan started the federal War on Drugs, but the half million incarcerated were mostly by the 1994 Federal Crime Bill by Clinton.

ACA did not provide health care for all, but simply forced poor young people to buy expensive private health care they did not want and could not afford. It did nothing to reduce over charging or quality, and gave employers more control over employees lives.

Nothing to do with misogyny.
Hillary just ignored all the rural states.
Trump did not.

Hillary refused to support public health care, end wars, end war on drugs, etc. Then took $150 million from bankers. Trump looked far more independent because he appeared to be self financing instead of being bought by bankers. It was likely all an illusion and just reactionary, but voters won't vote party line ever again. The Clintons ruing the DNC and turned it into the party of the wealthy elite. They could have fixed that with Sanders, but they threw that away.

Biden has ZERO chance.
He has the same lack of public health care, not ending wars, not ending war on drugs, and being bought with Burisma Holdings.

Again, Bernie was the Dems last chance.
Some sort of suicide cult in the DNC.
