Re: You know you're going to have a bad day when..... This year is Canada's 150 birthday. Here's a hundred RCMP officers standing on a suspension bridge in the middle of a BC forest. They got more guts than I have.

"libido sciendi"..... the passion to know.
Re: You know you're going to have a bad day when..... The floors in the power station I worked in were almost all open grating. Could see from 65 feet above the grade to 32 feet below grade most anywhere. Our crane access walkways 40 feet above the turbine were also open grating so you could see the floor 40 feet below. I had no issue walking the beams on the cranes, another co-worker could barely stand to walk the general floor spaces knowing that he would fall thru at any moment.
Re: You know you're going to have a bad day when..... I am assuming you wore a harness, didn't you? My husband was a rigger on the first set up of U2's staging of the 360 tour, it was 151ft. high. I don't mind heights but as I've aged I've gained a fear of enclosed places, hmmm.
