Yes, my favorite president.
I think his enemies deliberately caused the oil price to double.

He was true to Democratic party policy thus he angered the M.I.C. who made sure he wasn't reelected.
America won't win until they get rid of their rulers.

Re: President Carter collaspes in Winnipeg:
Was he terrible because he wasn't intent on killing half the globe's population?

Re: President Carter collaspes in Winnipeg:
No, he was terrible because he was incapable of providing leadership on a national or global stage, blamed the American people for his shortcomings and failures and drove the US economy into an enormously inflationary mess. That's why he was completely rejected by the American people in 1980. He was the Accidental President who was elected only because of the Nixon Watergate disaster.

Re: President Carter collaspes in Winnipeg:
He was also the cause of the Reagan years comparable to the Democrat issues driving voters to Trump.

Then the same issues I am enjoying, you can only work so long and so hard before the body says ENOUGH! and lays down. Age is a determining factor no matter how hard you want something how hard you try to overcome or how badly you wish to see a developed return.

He may have been a bit too idealistic for the job but I wouldn't call him incapable of providing leadership. He did it for four years. The Iran Hostage crisis played a significant role in him being rejected in 1980.
The media didn't help him much, emphasizing him being a Southern peanut farmer rather than a nuclear engineer. And of course dwelling on every minor mistake he made. The media really didn't seem to like him much. That helped an actor replace an engineer as president. Not too swift a move on the part of the American public.

As I recall Carter was neither a black man nor a white woman.
Those are the two "Democrat issues" that resulted in Trump being elected.
And I wouldn't give him credit for the Reagan years. The media had a lot more to do with that than Carter.
