Dining in the nude?
Dining in the nude?
Paris opens first nude restaurant for ‘au naturel’ diners.

[I wouldn't do it at home much less in a restaurant. I mean....what's the point? Is it just some sort of fetish or showing off your body because you are proud of it? I certainly don't think a restaurant can survive for long just feeding naked people. What do you think of it all?]

Re: Dining in the nude?
I think Charlie Rose pioneered this concept.

I should think it would be really uncomfortable. You could spill something hot on yourself.

One word of advice. Never fry bacon while nude.

Re: Dining in the nude?
Your question, Rose, what's the point is a good one. And I would be willing to bet that this nude restaurant idea was the brainchild of a man, not a woman.
I think Paris should stick to striptease shows and leave the dining to people wearing clothing. Nude restaurants are not an advance in civilization. More like going back to the days of the caveman.

Re: Dining in the nude?
San Francisco has had nude dining for years and London beat Paris. I wouldn't be surprised if there isn't more in other big cities in this country.

It being allowed in San Francisco and London doesn't indicate that its a good idea. It's still behaviour that harkens back to our primitive caveman days when people didn't wear a lot while eating their meals. Just on the basis of sanitation alone it's a very questionable practice. Like getting a tattoo.
Sometimes it seems that humans don't really want to let go of their primitive history and become truly civilized. Like that show "Naked and Afraid" which places naked contestants in some wild place and lets them suffer for a few weeks in order to presumably win a prize.

Re: Dining in the nude?
That sounds like a really bad idea.
i could see the restaurant being sued for a guest leaving behind a contagious disease or parasite.
You would have to sterilize the seats really well. Ok, i just made myself really sick.
