Perhaps. I have no problem with colour preferences generally but I also don't believe any skin colour actually needs to be changed through chemistry or harmful radiation treatments to make it look better. Any improvement in appearance is probably going to be imaginary and if the radiation method is used, very temporary. nondisclosed_email@example.com (Philer)Tue, 28 Nov 2017 05:07:14 +0000 Re: Tiffany's pale legged faux pashttps://bthepoliticalgrilltwo.runboard.com/p32182,from=rss#post32182https://bthepoliticalgrilltwo.runboard.com/p32182,from=rss#post32182I think you are seriously going to another place than where I'm at. nondisclosed_email@example.com (katie5445)Tue, 28 Nov 2017 04:42:57 +0000 Re: Tiffany's pale legged faux pashttps://bthepoliticalgrilltwo.runboard.com/p32179,from=rss#post32179https://bthepoliticalgrilltwo.runboard.com/p32179,from=rss#post32179quote:katie5445 wrote: quote:Philer wrote: quote:katie5445 wrote: That's their problem, see a shrink. I'd much prefer white walls to beige, tan, brown or black ones. What you're talking about is just a colour preference on your part. Apparently Tiffany doesn't share that preference. BTW, white is just as much a colour as brown or a light tan colour. And just because this somewhat goofy society calls white skin "pale" skin as if there is something wrong with it doesn't make it so. It's just what some people have been conditioned to think. It helps the tanning industry. There used to be an industry catering to black people trying to look more like white people but that industry became politically incorrect. I like bright colours. I'm not a white, beige or tan person. I've not been conditioned to think anything, I like a "bit" of colour, your'e making it a bigger deal than it is. I don't believe I'm one of those who were making a bigger deal of skin colour than it is. It's all the people who use the term "pale" to refer to the skin of someone who is white and/or suggest that they need to darken it. Imagine if someone referred to some black person's skin as being too dark or that it needed to be lightened through the use of chemicals. I'd love to see the reaction to that kind of remark, especially if it was made by some celebrity. We have silly double standards in this country and all the hangups about white skin being too white or too "pale" and sometimes unsightly due to its lack of colour is one of them. nondisclosed_email@example.com (Philer)Tue, 28 Nov 2017 03:29:06 +0000 Re: Tiffany's pale legged faux pashttps://bthepoliticalgrilltwo.runboard.com/p32173,from=rss#post32173https://bthepoliticalgrilltwo.runboard.com/p32173,from=rss#post32173Thanks for filling me in, as I'm not up on the trends of today. Fashion in my youth was filled with a lot of fads, but there are usually an assortment of dressing styles that have "that look" of being pleasant to the eye, and those that seem rather unappealing, regardless of era. With dresses or skirts of heavier knit fabrics, stockings or tights just seem to make sense.nondisclosed_email@example.com (birdcharm)Mon, 27 Nov 2017 19:58:54 +0000 Re: Tiffany's pale legged faux pashttps://bthepoliticalgrilltwo.runboard.com/p32167,from=rss#post32167https://bthepoliticalgrilltwo.runboard.com/p32167,from=rss#post32167quote:birdcharm wrote: I think there is a place for stockings, this may have been one of those places. I like a bit of a darker colour as well, not unusual unless you go overboard and you are an orange person. They were very white because she's a white person. White people darkening their skin is as silly as black people going for a lighter, less dark color. I remember how people got upset at Michael Jackson for his increasingly lighter skin tone. Why? Even if he had been doing it through chemical treatment it wouldn't have been more silly than whites going for a darker shade. There's no right skin color. Whites, the "pale" ones, have nothing to be ashamed of regarding their skin color just like black people. nondisclosed_email@example.com (Philer)Sun, 26 Nov 2017 20:14:56 +0000 Re: Tiffany's pale legged faux pashttps://bthepoliticalgrilltwo.runboard.com/p32141,from=rss#post32141https://bthepoliticalgrilltwo.runboard.com/p32141,from=rss#post32141I've looked at other photos, her legs were very white. She's a Caucasian woman! Why does she need to change the color of her legs to a darker shade? It would have been interesting to read what they would have said about Barron if he had been wearing short pants. I bet they wouldn't have said he needed to get them spray tanned. quote:She could definitely have used a trip to a spray tan salon if she was going to show so much late-autumn pale leg. http://hollywoodlife.com/2017/11/21/tiffany-trump-barron-turkey-pardoning-bare-legs-short-coat/nondisclosed_email@example.com (Philer)Sun, 26 Nov 2017 16:40:24 +0000
