Re: Voter ID laws may decide Alabama race

The people who envy the US are mostly poor and alienated in their own lands.

Chinese MAINLAND investor groups WERE as of last year buying what farmland they could get hold of in MO, OK and IL. Reason I do know this is family in IL and MO, long time friends in OK where they sent the papers articles last year to me in total disbelief was allowed.

Re: "That would explain the money heavy Chinese coming here buying up what they can?"

 Well the truth is:
"When it comes to foreign direct investment, Europe has become a preferred playing ground for China in the West. For several years now, Europe has attracted both state-run and private Chinese enterprises looking for investment opportunities, despite the historical, geographic, legal, linguistic, societal and cultural complexities of investing in the European Union."

Chinese outbound foreign direct investment (FDI) flows as follows: 19 per cent of total Chinese FDI took place in Europe (stock: US$13.9 billion) and 13 per cent in North America (stock: US$11.4 billion), which has also become an important recipient."
