They will get them no matter what the officials attempt to dissuade.

Our military ships weapons the same way, open book for theft even harder to track out.

Meanwhile in NYC, with its strong gun laws:

Crime in New York City Plunges to a Level Not Seen Since the 1950s ...

2 days ago - In fact, crime has fallen in New York City in each of the major felony categories — murder and manslaughter, rape, assault, robbery, burglary, grand larceny, and car thefts — to a total of 94,806 as of Sunday, well below the previous record low of 101,716 set last year. If the trend holds just a few more days, ...

New York City on pace to record lowest murder tally in decades - CNN
edition.cnn.com/2017/12/26/us/new-york-2017-crime-stats/index.html
21 hours ago - New York (CNN) Despite enduring its deadliest terror attack since 9/11, New York City is on pace to record its lowest murder total in decades. The homicide drop mirrors an across-the-board reduction in major crimes over 2016, statistics released by the police department show. There have been 284 ...

So explain that, too, please.

Yet a couple dozen other cities per capita beat Chicago in murder/crime that pretty much go ignored, people love to pick on Chicago.

It's sorta pathetic for these losers in DC to single out Chicago again and again! I've lived here most of my life; city and suburbs and I've yet to see anything the way it's portrayed by Trump! No city is immune to one or 2 bad areas that isn't getting the support to alleviate the drug problem and violence! The mayor hired a new Police Superintendent that has an outreach program and it's quelled some of these problems! To get back at Obama, they'll keep invoking the place! A-holes! emoticon emoticon emoticon

Al Capone and prohibition? just guessing. i remember when my aunt moved there in the 60's my grandmother refused to visit, for fear she'd catch a bullet turning the corner.

I remember when New York City wasn't safe, oh wait it's still not safe.

You just have to be careful and use common sense everywhere now.

Jimmy Hoffa ?

So I guess you are thinking of Detroit, not Chicago, really, too, then.
