Killer extremists:

Killer extremists:

White supremacists were responsible for the majority of extremist killings in 2017 compared to other groups, according to a newly released report by the Anti-Defamation League.

http://www.cnn.com/2018/01/17/us/white-supremacist-killings-adl-report/index.html

[Statistically this is nothing compared to the number of gun deaths every year or even the number of people killed in car accidents but its helpful in understanding the threat extremists are to the fabric of America. There seems to be millions of white Americans who are disturbed by the browning of the nation and the reality they could soon be a minority in what they think is "their" country. They are not killers of course but it's the breeding ground for the killer extremists.

The question is what can we do about them? Is it possible to do anything about them? If the FBI and Homeland Security can't seem to stop them ...who can? Should we just close our eyes to it like we do with gun deaths and fatal car accidents? What are those militias up to when they are running around the woods armed to the teeth? What do you think of it all?]

First change the gun laws to ban assault-style weapons. Then tighten gun laws to weed out violent and mentally ill people from owning guns. Then prosecute those who have break the laws to the fullest extent of the law.

I see less than 200 killings listed, yet the killings of Black Americans by other Black Americans seems irrelevant or not statistically chosen. As well over 15,000 homicides are not included in the counts:

It would be a very long process but I can't see any viable alternative.
America puts people's lives at a lower value than gun owners' rights to strutt around with their guns.

Re: Killer extremists:

Alright Yobbo, facts and figures, over 300 million firearms in the US, how many and at what percentage were the injuries/murders against the total?

http://dailycaller.com/2014/11/04/gun-ownership-by-the-numbers/

What is the most common firearm used in criminal activity?

https://www.statista.com/statistics/195325/murder-victims-in-the-us-by-weapon-used/

So how does that equate to "Numbers of Firearms present the common denominator"?

Guns are designed to shoot bullets at something while cars are designed to drive along roads and not hit anything.

Cars kill just as firearms. A Rifle can be used for target shoot, sports hunting or for collecting. A shotgun much the same as well hand weapons. You do not make any response of note to the comment I just made.

What percentage of firearms are used in criminal actions, and what type most common. I posted the links for you to discern.

Of the deaths by firearm how many are suicide that would have chosen an alternate? And blow off as you wish but a attempted suicide usually resulting in failure follows with another until they win the fight.

There is still uncertain levels of suicides by auto where the machine is intentionally driven into a solid object, at least 80% in MO are chalked up as 'Distracted single vehicle incident and death'.

Want to get into semantics as to guns shoot bullets. Bow and arrow shoot as well or a Atlatl. Crossbows are legal these days, a decent archer with a rack of bolts and a crossbow can get quite a flight off.

You do understand that unless one gets really lucky with a kill shot, or a shot to a major artery where the subject bleeds out rapidly, a relative size for the projectile does not inflict instantaneous death?

Hunters aim for critical mass organs, lungs, heart, a bird hunter aims for the head. Ducks are routinely retrieved to have their neck ringed as they have not automatically died. Large Game may run for a quarter mile bleeding out where they are blood trail tracked. I was in a Alaskan hunt when our party was charged by a bear. The animal was in full charge so was nowhere and no time to run. Associate hunter had a hand weapon out as my own Uncle had unshouldered his rifle that was slinged up. First man put five bullets into the head, the fifth actually stopped the bear. That fifth shot entered thru an eye socket. Four slugs were found under the hide atop the animals skull, .45 Long Colt. My Uncle was about to pull the trigger on his .30-06 when the animal stopped.

In actuality, less than .0002% of the firearms in US Private hands are determined as criminally used, of those criminally used 85% are handguns, of those greater than 60% are or were classified as illegally procured.

So explain to me how a turn in program, how any form of weapons collection program can eliminate or alleviate such a small number? Odds do not agree.
