How to recognize a liberal extremist

It's not difficult to do. He or she qualifies if any of the following is true.

1. They believe that some Los Angeles police officers tried to frame O. J. Simpson for murder.

2. They believe that the reason why criminals commit violent crimes against innocent people is because they were mistreated as children, live in a poor neighborhood or can't find a job.

3. They believe that censorship is a dirty word.

4. They believe that it would be terrible if women carried guns for their own protection despite there already being tons of guns in the hands of violent criminals.

5. They believe that drug companies should be blamed for how people misuse their products and forced to pay out huge sums to the government for promoting and selling those legal products.

Censored for what? Let's try conservatives banning or trying to ban authors like Twain, Hemingway, F. Scott or James Joyce and who can forget "Portnoy's Complaint," then there is Darwin......I wouldn't take one word out of any of these books more or less ban or burn them! We have hate speech laws for discrimination against minorities when it leads to violence, so tell me if that is true why are we denying that hate speech is leading to violence, which is including by cops shooting black persons when they didn't have to shoot, or like the female cop that got 10 years. Part of what laid heavy in her conviction, was racism on her phone and computer. Whether brown, black, gay or a woman, we have some very serious issues for what is known as a progressive, free country that practices democracy, no we don't, this country is letting and allowing sexual assaults on women including two sitting members of the SC, discrimination in the work place, gays and those of a darker colour being harrassed, beat up or murdered. Yet we have more persons in prison that Carter has little liver pills. Our system is broken and not working for multi millions of persons, while others take gross liberties on their person and continual hate speech on these groups have gotten us exactly where? More violence, more hate, that is where! Remember the movie "Network" "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore," minorities make up over 40% of our population in the darker colour scheme, not including gays or women and I don't see an economic revolution in this country but I'm not so sure about minority groups who are seriously feeling the burn.

What about authors like the Marquis de Sade? Did you know that some of his writings inspired murderers like Ian Brady, the notorious English child murderer?

And it wasn't conservatives who wanted to see Mark Twain's great books censored due to the N word being used in them. It was liberals. What liberals object to is government censorship of crappy things like films which depict and promote violence. As well as "adult" films which contrary to liberal BS, are not protected by the First Amendment.

I agree that censorship is a thorny issue but governments are always going to practice it just as individuals control what they say to each other. The only important issue is whether or not the censorship of any government is justified and makes sense.

De Sade was not just an author, he had sexual sadism disorder, was declared insane and went to jail. That was public news in 1801 or so by trial and in the papers. His writings wouldn't inspire anyone unless you were mentally ill. Any nutcase can pick an author, a murderer, any nut case through history can find what they want. Take England where persons who weren't the right religion, were hung, drawn, quartered with their heads put on a spike, if some fancies that, that is what they will do or they have their own sick thoughts, that they need no help whatsoever. When you think of sexual deviancy and there are more than persons ever want to think about that comes from their own being, their own brain, their own sexually. Our first amendment gives us the right for them not to interfere, I'm speaking of the general public, who for some reason can't drive a bloody car with going into one and hurting persons to Rand Paul getting beat to !@#$ for yard debris. To personal attacks on gays, blacks, Hispanics, etc. that has created unreal violence upon them and much started by words, bullying and disenfranchising to what the rest of us have. There is no such thing for many people as sticks and stones, not when it goes on for decades in certain areas in this country to centuries. Being a west coast person, I didn't grow up with this kind of crap but I did watch the south and midwest and still am. Maybe I'm wrong, I'm just looking at a way where pale white persons in certain states, just stop I guess and when it is a politician, they shouldn't be allowed to run on a racist platform and they do.

De Sade "preached" a certain way of thinking about what constitutes good and evil and apparently Ian Brady adopted some of De Sade's ideas as his own. They were not good ideas.

When you make claims like "much started by words," you seem to realize that words can have consequences but yet you don't seem to want to see anything censored. Does that include the N word? Should white people be allowed to use that word on TV without being fired from their jobs?

A lot of what De Sade believed seems to fall more in line with liberals than conservatives. For example, he was apparently an opponent of capital punishment. But he seemed to be more of a libertarian than either a conservative or liberal. He was not a fan of government or even religion for that matter.

The only reason he got a mention of his politics because he was such a well known pervert. I don't think his politics were of importance.
