Chiefs Super Bowl win may have saved lives

Being a big fan of the Kansas City Chiefs naturally I was glad they won the last Super Bowl. Now I'm even more proud of them for not only winning the big game but also apparently saving many lives.

I really like the city of San Francisco almost as much as I do Kansas City and its great that the Chiefs protected that great city. They didn't know they were doing it at the time but that's apparently how it worked out.

Thank goodness the Chiefs won that Super Bowl!

It's a lot of things but ridiculous is not one of them.

I say that because the timeline does not fit. The super bowl was Feb.2, the first known case in SF of the virus was March 5th.

Seriously, this thread begs the question; who are you to judge degrees of ridiculousness, Philler ?

You apparently didn't read the article.

While San Francisco was still mourning the 49ers’ loss the morning after the Super Bowl, Sehgal’s command center went live with multiple patients. As of Tuesday, the city had 957 confirmed cases and 15 deaths, according to Johns Hopkins.

If "Being a big fan of the Kansas City Chiefs naturally I was glad they won the last Super Bowl. Now I'm even more proud of them for not only winning the big game but also apparently saving many lives."
... is allowed as a point on this side of the looking glass, why are all of the events that logically can be connected to the predicted effects of global warming, like new emergent viruses leading to more frequent pandemics, be said to only be nasty and disloyal ... not politically correct ... thinking ?
