Never had a squirrel enter, not a good thing, they bite, one got my dog on the foot once. When I lived in the country it was usually a tiny field mouse, once a bat flew in and I went bonkers. Hate bats. I've been lucky, living in the country or city really no infestation or problem with any critters or bugs.

Why did you go bonkers when a bat flew in? You're not their natural prey. That would be insects, including mosquitoes, making them very useful mammals to have flying around in the air.

They are hairy with butt ugly faces and give me the creeps, and if I am coming up on something different story, I've done bat caves. If a snake crawls up between my legs which it has I freak out but I can go up pick up a snake and play with it. I have skeeter eaters in the house to eat the mosquitoes.

I agree they are not the most handsome mammals around but that's probably because they have evolved with senses that depend more on sound than light. If you had evolved with big movable ears designed to detect flying objects as small as a mosquito plus relatively poor vision you might look very different than you do.
