What you are describing is part of Premium Board membership. See here for more details.

#2
{...
Control Panel :: Board Managment :: Set Misc Options/Set Misc Board Options
Scroll down to:
How many topics to display per page (premium boards only).
Min: 1, max: 50, 0 = default (20) [___]
How many posts to display per page (premium boards only).
Min: 1, max: 30, 0 = default (10) [___]
...}
But I did not see how much a premium board costs?
If it is not much, I could contribute.

Here is their response:
{...
When upgrading a community to premium, you will buy a credit of premium page views. The base unit is 100 000 page views, and this costs 25 dollars US, or 25 euros. All purchases must be multiples of 100 000 page views. An average board will only need to purchase one base unit per year or two. A busy board will of course eat through these credits much more quickly - all depends on the traffic to your board.
...
How long premium credits last is affected by your settings. You can make them last longer by having logged out viewers see advertising.
...}
Seems like less than $25/year is not a bad deal. And it does not seem onerous to make people login to avoid advertising. I always login anyway.

Re: Learning our way around this board:
Both of us paid more than that to get rid of ads on our old board and they promised it was free. I don't think we should be paying for something that supposed to be free. We can manage the way things are now but I really appreciate your help Rigby. I will return you to your membership status. Thanks again.

I already used the credit card and got $25 worth of premium. But it did not appear to be instantaneous. I changed the setting to 40, but I don't see 40 yet. Try again in a day or 2 if it does not expand. Also advertising is supposed to go away I think?
I thought it was worth it because they implied it could last for several years, not just one.

Re: Learning our way around this board:
Quick question:
I've noticed that posts are stamped with what must be the time from a different time zone. Some posts seem to be 3 hours ahead.
Anyone know if I can change that? I've not found any settings.

I think you have to do that on your computer. Not sure but mine is screwed up and I don't really care.

If instead of Canada for location, you could have put in the time zone. Then it would be easy to calculate absolute posting time.
For example, I just put in Mountain Time for my location. And you could still leave in Canada, but add "EDT", (Eastern Daylight Time),
