Marianne Williamson.
I have been a fan of Marianne Williamson for decades.
I own every single Cassette, then Cd that's she's put out there.
I was delighted when she announced plans to run for president.
However, I was surprised that not everyone thought she was as great, as I think she is. Still, being a guru running for president is a long shot.
What are your thoughts on Marianne Williams ? or have you even heard of her?

Re: Marianne Williamson.
I like her as a candidate but I doubt that she has much of a chance getting the nomination. Way too much competition.
One of the few people who has paid much attention to her is Stephen Colbert on his TV talk show. I don't recall him putting a positive spin on her candidacy.

Re: Marianne Williamson.
I like her as a life coach, a therapist but as a president, the thought is frightening.

Re: Marianne Williamson.
I feel like this woman would apply for president and say "That's The sound of me not calling you back" after winning loool.

Re: Marianne Williamson.
civic tested in 4th grade (elementary) 8th grade (Jr. High) 12 grade (High School) while it's being tested it doesn't mean that it's been taught. Student knowledge in this area has declined for the last decade on these tests.

Re: Marianne Williamson.
We didn't call it civics, it just came under history. In CA., it was 6th, 8th and 11th grade. In OR. for my grand kids it is the same. I think kids are far more interested in govt. than they ever have been. Guns, drugs, the job market changing, the expense of further education and realizing the cost of goods, like their tennis shoes!
